What the group does
You join a Professional Employer Organization, or PEO, with thousands of other employees in it. You pay the group's workers' comp rate instead of your own. The same team runs:

- HR, hiring paperwork, and handbooks
You buy with the group, but you're rated on your own record. Other contractors' claims never land on your bill.
